Kasia Wnek
I was born in Gdansk and lived and studied there for 25 years, graduating with my Masters Degree in Tourism and Recreation from the University of Gdansk (Academy of Physical Education and Sport).
Before coming to the UK I had extensive experience of the tourist industry in my native Poland.
I have lived in England for the past three years, gaining further experience in Tourism in a bi-cultural environment, where I became passionately interested in promoting the beauty and diversity of my homeland to a British audience.
Since arriving in beautiful North Yorkshire I have enjoyed pursuing my life long equestrian interests in and around the York area.
Maxine Forster
I was born in Bristol and have lived in rural North Yorkshire for the last 18 years.
For the first 10 years I worked as a Tour Operator for one the leading independent Tour Operators in the UK. During that period I gained extensive experience in researching and contracting hotels across Europe.
I was also involved in setting up the highly successful equestrian portfolio. I have also lived and worked in Australia and South East Asia.
I have two daughters and together we pursue our various equestrian interests, which is how I met Kasia. Kasia suggested that I should learn more about Poland and visit her native Gdansk where, instead of finding the expected concrete tower blocks
and ship yards, I was really impressed with the beauty and diversity of this little known nation in Eastern Europe.
